Kamil Woj is painting outdoor.

Kamil Woj is a UK-based contemporary artist known for his energetic alla prima landscapes and live portraiture. A former pro musician and guitarist for rock legend Pete Way, Kamil brings a distinct rhythmic vitality and performance energy to his visual art. Originally from Poland, his practice is grounded in direct observation, working exclusively in oils and painting from life to capture fleeting light and raw atmosphere. His approach is deeply physical and immediate, often completing works in a single intense session to preserve the vibrant energy of the moment.

His rapidly rising career is marked by significant recent accolades, including winning the 'Sense of Place' category at the Rococo competition in Painswick and taking First Prize at the Wokingham En Plein Air festival. These achievements have quickly established his reputation among British curators and collectors as a powerful force in the contemporary live painting scene.

Among others his work has been exhibited at 54 The Gallery, New Forest Heritage Centre, The Hatch Gallery and many more. He was also featured as a selected Wildcard participant on Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year, where he was filmed painting on location.
